Pickleball Court Installation

Complete backyard courts built for Southern California ground, sun, and neighborhoods — from grading and post-tension pads to the final line paint.

What a complete installation includes

Site grading and drainage, your choice of asphalt, concrete, or post-tension concrete pad, acrylic sport surfacing in your colors, regulation line striping, a permanent net system, and options for fencing, windscreens, lighting, and sound barriers. One contract, one project lead, one fixed written price.

Pads engineered for SoCal soils

Much of the Conejo Valley and west Valley sits on expansive clay that swells and shrinks with moisture — the #1 killer of backyard courts. Where soil conditions call for it, we spec post-tension concrete slabs that resist cracking and heaving. Flat, stable lots can save with reinforced concrete or asphalt. We assess your lot at the free consultation and tell you which your ground actually needs — not which is most expensive.

Sized right for your yard

A regulation court is 20 × 44 feet; with clearances the pad runs 30 × 60 feet minimum and 34 × 64 feet ideally. We lay the footprint out in your yard with you — orientation (north–south is best for sun), distance from bedroom windows, and slope all get decided before design. See court dimensions.

FAQ

How long does installation take?

Typically 3–6 weeks of on-site work after permits and HOA approval, including concrete cure time before surfacing. Permitting is the variable — we give you a city-specific timeline estimate at the consult.

Can you build on a sloped lot?

Yes — sloped lots are common in Agoura, Calabasas, Malibu, and hillside Ventura. Grading, retaining, and post-tension slabs handle most slopes; the consult tells us which your lot needs and what it adds to the budget.

What if my yard is smaller than 30 × 60?

We can sometimes work with slightly reduced clearances for recreational play, and half-court or driveway setups are an option. We'll measure and be straight with you about what plays well.

Do you handle permits and HOA approval?

Yes — we prepare the permit package and HOA submission with you. Requirements vary by city; see our FAQ & local laws page.
